Heya! I recently realized that PicoDay2024 is coming up, and I decided to do something for it!

Now, you'd most likely expect someone like me -- an artist -- to make some sort of art-piece/animation for it, right?...

Well... nope!

Instead, I've decided to do the COMPLETELY conventional thing of making a small point-&-click puzzle game for it!... despite never coding anything outside of Scratch when I was 12 before...

The current plan is for it to be a really, really short game along the lines of the original Pico's School game and Riddle School series, with puzzles and such.

This is gonna be hard, and developing a game with no experience in little under a week is a daunting challenge, but one I'm gonna take on head-first!

With this, if anyone has any links to tutorials on how to make games such as that in Gamemaker Studio (or if you know any other free software that would be better for a game such as this) or any sort of tips-'n'-tricks to help out, it'd be greatly appreciated! -I can't promise that it'll be done in time, due to my less-than-amateurness, but at least I'm breaking out of my comfort-zone and trying something new, right?
